Join us in our further development! We are currently looking to fill the following position in the R&D department at our Neckartenzlingen site:

Intern R&D (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize applications using Rust on a Linux operating system
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of software solutions that support IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN protocols
  • Leverage generative AI tools to assist in code generation, problem-solving and optimization of Rust code
  • Collaborate with senior developers to debug, test and improve the performance of wireless communication applications
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and problem-solving sessions

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
  • Good german and english skills
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line tools
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Rust programming
  • Understanding of networkingprotocols, particularly IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi)
  • Experience or openness to utilizing generative AIfor programming tasks
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn and a passion for open-source development
